Hi there…I’m trying to do this pattern and am not understanding the back pack and face mask instructions. Is there a video? I’m having trouble counting ’rounds” when really they’re rows? The increases in the face mask don’t make sense to me and it doesn’t say “turn” and I have no idea where to out these stitches? Is 2 rows considered 1 round? Please help!
Round and row is the same thing
Thanks for your question, this means I should explain it better in the pattern.
I have to admit that I did not consider it as rows as I crochet around the chain for the mask and the backpack, maybe it is rows rather than rounds…
I am sorry I do not have any video for this…
But here is me trying to explain:
BACKPACK:
Round/row 1) Crochet 11 cs (10 base and 1 for the turn) then turn,
crochet 9 sc; 1 inc;
continue to the other side of the chain and crochet 9 sc. (the last sc goes to the same point as the first, counts as an increase) (20)
FACE MASK:
Round/row 1) 7 cs. (6 from base and 1 for the turn) then turn,
1 inc; 4 sc;
continue to the other side of the chain and crochet 1 triple inc .; 4 sc; 1 sc. (the last sc goes to the same point as the first, counts as triple increase) (14)
Does this make more sense?
best regards
Gribba
