So I just finished this one: Oh Land – lettere end du tror. Designed by Nanna Øland for Sandnes Garn.

I am such a rebel and tend to use other yarn then the one in the patterns, so I used 2 x Sandnes Garn – Silk Mohair – Lilla, as I found a place that would sell the pattern with 2 balls of yarn instead of the 6 that should be used.

I then use those 2 with, 3 balls of cheap glimmer yarn (2 gold and one purble) I found in Netto (supermarket in denmark).

I used the ‘Call a friend’ option a few times during my first time knitting a sweater…

I can not wear anything in the Icelandic wool (Létt-Lopi), so I replaced it with Drops Air Yarn.

I used the ‘Magic Loop’ technique to knit both sleeves at once.

And I added width in the chest area to fit me.

So I took on the knitting project, ærmeling, it was fun, and went better than I expected it would with only 3 years of knitting experience.

This part was SO much work….

My first time changing colors…. was fun and I learned a few new things….

I learned this is a lot of work and takes time!!!

The final product… I am so happy with my Ærmeling, I will most likely make few more as these are just so cute and fun!!!
